The importance of YNY

In January 2020, online social interaction accounted for almost 95% of our daily life worldwide. Therefore, with an online presence, our mission is to create and empower the youths with different skills such as:

• IT: Developer, Network, Security, AI, Desktop, Information & Technology, etc.
• Finance: Accountancy, Banking, and Finance, etc.
• Business: Consulting and Management, etc.
• Voluntary: Charity & NGO Charity, Voluntary work, etc.
• Science: Energy and utilities, Engineering and Manufacturing, Yoruba Science, etc.
• Agriculture: Environment and Agriculture, etc.
• Hospital – Healthcare, Sociology & Brain, etc.
• Entertainment and Arts: Music, OAPs, Designers & Artists (Art — Creative Arts and Design), etc.
• Textiles — Fashion & Clothing

These skills broaden our horizons, change our beggarly mindset, and increase our range and geographical reach as we launch into a world with no limit. Imagine the new Yoruba Nation Youth (YNY) with the right skills to bring out the extra overheads. Don’t you think it is high time we’ve trained and equipped our own youths’ future and built the leaders of tomorrow? YNY says YES!

Vision’s Setting

For our vision to be accomplished, we need to answer this question– how does the world know that you’re open and ready for integration? Answer: most people’s first port of call is Google: accounting for more than 78% of desktop search traffic globally and over 94% of mobile and tablet traffic. Therefore, to reach these searchers, we need people with creativity and ideas. Hence, the youths, people with good mindsets, to enhance innovative ways of communication interact on YNY.  Yoruba Nation Youth (YNY) social media and website engagements connect our youths in the Diaspora and Home.

We are also informing the world about the Yoruba Nation Youth presence. Our movement is a powerful tool that allows you to develop, train, empower, and develop. We focus on the change & transformation of the remote means of communication for our people.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

Yoruba Nation Youth promotes a shared understanding of Positive Youth Development (PYD), whereby young people are empowered to reach their full potential.

TECHNICAL GUIDANCE

Compiling and sharing resources that take an evidence-based approach, we provide practitioners and researchers with the necessary tools to improve youth development practices’ effectiveness continuously.
